Instructions to use My English Portocho's activities 

for your final mark: 

Hello students!

As you already know, 20% of your final mark (2 points out of 10) corresponds to the "leisure" activities that you will find in the Portocho. The activities will be very varied and you are free to choose the ones that you like most. Each activity will give you a certain amount of tochopoints according to its level of difficulty or time recquired. You have to complete as many activities as tochopoints you want to get.

 For instance:

200 tochopoints = 2 points
150 tochopoints = 1,5 points
100 tochopoints = 1 point
50 tochopoints = 0,5 point 
10 tochopoints = 0,1 point
0 tochopoints (you don't do any activity) = 0 points

Or, even better, you can make them all! :D *

The tochopoints for every activity will be specified.

This is optional, that is, so you may choose to do more or less activities or even not doing anything. You are free to choose what to do with that 20% of your final mark. However, the final task for the 3rd term is compulsory (see the Final Task tab for more information)

You have to print the activities and bring them all together to class when you are finished.


* The maximum for your final mark will be 2 points, even if you complete all the activities.

The three students with more tochopoints at the end of the terms will be announced to congratulate them for their hard work. 

Evaluation: 

In order to get the 20% for your final mark, this is what you will have to achieve:

1st term: 200 tochopoints (activities)

2nd term: 200 tochopoints (activities)

3rd term: 100 tochopoints (activities) + 100 tochopoints from the final task

Deadline: 

• Activities from the Portocho: the day of the exam (in all the terms). 
• Oral presentation: it will be negotiated in class. 
• Oral presentation: If you decide to make an oral presentation, first of all, congratulations! However, you can only choose one oral presentation so there is time for everyone. The day of the oral presentation will be negotiated and you can do it throughout the term. 
• Final task: Last day of class with oral presentations (from the Portocho's activities).

The amount of tochopoints obtained will rely on the quality of the task.
